The Cause of a Lonely Blog of Visitors Despite Many Articles and How to Overcome It (Part 1)

A new blogger must ask about the cause of the blog's lack of visitors / visitors even though there are many articles. This is only natural if you ask because all bloggers must have felt this way. If that happens to you too, then you should know the factors that cause the blog to be empty of visitors, and you can immediately solve the problem.

Many factors cause blogs to be empty of visitors such as the age of the blog which is still new, lack of attention to SEO, not creating quality content, and others. But what if you have done all that and the result is still the blog is empty of visitors?.

I have summarized all the causes of the blog being empty of visitors which you can read in this article.

1. The Age of a Young / New Blog

If your blog is a blog that was just created a few months ago, then naturally this is the case. Google has just detected and has not yet recognized your blog more specifically. It's like you enter the world of work, not everyone will know you and you need to adapt to the employees there to add friends and if you already have a lot of friends then your boss thinks that you are an easy person to adapt so your boss also likes you in the world of work.

This is the same as blogs, you need to adapt to blogs that are quite older than your own blog, of course they are more senior and more experienced. Therefore you should not try to beat them in Google search but respect them first and start from the bottom with blogs that are still new too. When your blog is old enough and you are consistent in updating articles, the Google boss will recognize your blog and then your blog may enter PageOne in Google searches.

2. Your Blog Theme is Not SEO and Human Friendly

Well the theme is also very influential for your blog. When your blog has a theme that is not SEO Friendly and Human Friendly, Google is reluctant to recognize your site

Also when your visitors come to your site but it turns out that the site you have is not pleasing to the eye, the visitor automatically chooses to leave and doesn't want to come back again. Therefore, improve your blog's theme if you can buy a premium theme that really has a good structure or maybe if you are a Web Developer you can make it yourself.

3. Heavy Blog Loading

This is what keeps visitors from visiting your site. Yes, the main thing is because it takes a long time to load, usually visitors will only wait for loading between 3-5 seconds and in my opinion 5 seconds is the longest loading. More than this the visitor will try to open another site.

Long loading is also caused by themes, there are errors (Error 404), lots of large images and videos, the amount of javascript used, the number of widgets on your blog, and so on.

4. Create Irrelevant Titles

Do you know ? that the title can determine the position of your article in the search menu. If the title that you make is irrelevant how people will know about your article. This is a mistake that is often made by ordinary bloggers, many who make the title just carelessly even though you should research keywords first then determine the title.

You can also use the long tail keyword in the title.

5. Your Articles Are Not Qualified

Make quality articles of at least 300 words and even then at least, I suggest you make articles between 800-1500 words, more than that the better. Because articles that have enough words have a greater chance of occupying the first position on Google searches.

However, don't just focus on the length of your content. However, also pay attention to the quality, such as explanations that are not long-winded, easy to understand, and of course do not copy and paste. Make your own article with your own style of language because this is more blessed and will make your article different from the others because of the style of language you use.

6. Rarely Update Articles

Many say that the article update must be 1 day 1 article. Reading the article is not wrong, you can post articles 1 day 1 article as long as you are able and not lazy. The disease of bloggers is lazy, when they have been hit by laziness, the blog will not be taken care of and as a result Google will assume that your site is unsustainable. Then, the article that might have been on page one is now down to page 4.

This of course has an impact on visitors too, usually visitors are easy to find your site now visitors are easy to find other sites. Therefore, be regular in posting articles even if not 1 day 1 article at least 2 days, 4 days or once a week. The category of people who update content once a week in my opinion are people who have entered the lazy category unless you are really busy and bothered to manage time.

7. Unindexed Articles

After posting the article, don't forget to submit it to Google Webmaster. Even SEO masters in the class of Neil Patel are still using Google Webmaster, so it is fitting for us ordinary bloggers to do the same. Google Webmaster will help your article to be indexed quickly, to check whether your article is indexed by Google you can do this.

When you visit and read an article, the url will appear in the address bar. Add "site:http://www.yoursite.com/category/permalink" you just need to add the word site: before the url. If your article is visible on Google search then your article is already indexed.
