The compact Dronut X1 is claimed to be very suitable for use in challenging environments such as narrow spaces even with poor or no lighting.
Currently there is a new drone with two rotors, named Dronut X1, which has an unusual design. This device made by Cleo Robotics has little resemblance to drones in general. However, the latest drone does not use the same flying technology as conventional drones.
Cleo Robotics claims the Dronut X1 is the world's first dual motorized drone capable of flying in areas not previously mapped for any drone. This palm-sized drone is used for indoors, there are no visible external propellers on the Dronut X1. Therefore, the channeled fan design allows the drone to operate very close to humans and be able to fly around sensitive equipment.
Reporting from Gizmochina (11/23), the Drone X1 uses Cleo Robotics' thrust vector technology for lift, while several other sensors support various functions on the drone. This product is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The compact Dronut X1 is claimed to be very suitable for applications in challenging environments such as narrow spaces even with poor or no lighting.
This Weebo-like drone in Flubber is equipped with Lidar 3D, 4K camera, global shutter camera for precise positioning, and is reliable in areas where GPS access is not available. This drone can accurately detect and avoid obstacles, and is also finger controlled remotely via an Android phone.
Its battery only offers 12 minutes of flight time on a full charge. The battery can be charged from 0 to 100% in 40 minutes. These drones can be used in several innovative ways to track activity in confined and difficult spaces. The Dronut X1 is priced at USD 9,800 (Rp 140 million).
